Daphne also has many years of experience as an Art teacher in both Primary and Secondary schools and set up three Art departments. Due to an increasing demand for commissions from private collectors, she gave up teaching to become a full time artist over the last 7 years. She has since exhibited at The Royal Academy Piccadilly, The Agora Gallery, Soho New York, John Martin London, Verneuil France and recently had a solo show at 9 Langton Street Chelsea.
She is Chairman of the Association of British Naives and her largest collection hangs in Nassau, Bahamas. She will be spending two months in Bermuda working along side Masterworks Museum who have awarded her an Artist in Residence scheme.
