How did you get started as an artist?
Colouring in. This I've always loved, and although when I began painting professionally I painted in a 'proper' manner, I soon reverted to my love of colouring in!
How would you describe your work?
My work is in a naive style. One of biggest influences is Lowri. I am a member of the Association of British Naive Artists.
Do you draw inspiration from your local area?
Paintings are always of local areas, within about a 50 mile radius. Local architecture and communities are what inspire me.
Where has your work been shown?
Nationally and locally; at present I stay with local galleries as my work is of this area. Galleries currently exhibiting my work include Pendre Arts, Cardigan, St Dogmaels Gallery, St Dogmaels; Trefin; Oriel Gorwel, Carmarthen; Origen Dyfed Carmarthen; The Gallery, Narbeth and Fountain Fine Arts, Llandeilo.
