I was born in London in 1962 of Jamaican parents.   It was during my stay in Australia in the 1980s that I began to paint after seeing a large balloon floating past my bedroom window.  

My paintings are the work of an untrained unselfconscious artist who paints in a direct manner with no regard for the conventions or styles of any school. 

  The mood of my paintings is happy and bright.,   there is a lot of colour and activity.   It is the world of an adult looking through the eyes of a child.
